July 2026: Easier Setup, Sign-In, and Desktop Replies
July's updates make getting into Denker and continuing work on your Mac easier. The onboarding demo gains more stable playback and frame placement, sign-in gets a new browser-to-app handoff, and notes gain font-size controls and live dictation previews.
July 3, 2026 — A guided first open and a video-led onboarding demo
A first-open introduction now leads into a video-synchronized demo with a countdown, example research, a Mail draft, and remembered context. The demo keeps its frames on the display where onboarding started, and its timer can pause with video playback.
The compact Denker control and greeting receive clearer positioning and smoother expansion. Runtime setup is part of onboarding, CLI model catalogs are refreshed, and the memory extraction and embedding pipeline is updated.
July 4, 2026 — Keep onboarding progress and replay controls consistent
Fixed onboarding frame chrome flicker, completion persistence, and flashes during sign-in transitions. Onboarding media replay also receives fixes so restarting the demonstration follows its intended flow.
July 5, 2026 — More consistent frame backgrounds during onboarding
Focus-mode frame controls are less prone to flicker, glass backgrounds are restored where needed, and the onboarding completion cards stay above the demo frames.
July 6, 2026 — Video controls preserve the onboarding view
Video playback and its controls no longer trigger the unwanted automatic viewport refits addressed in this release. Frame glass and focus transitions also receive fixes to reduce visual jumps while watching the demo.
July 7, 2026 — Mac work-area sizing and a refreshed website
Fixed drift in the desktop workspace geometry and work-area height. The Mac app uses authoritative work-area samples, while onboarding video-frame animation receives a further correction.
The production website receives its landing-page redesign.
July 8, 2026 — A clearer path from sign-up to the Mac app
Get Started opens sign-up, auth cards offer a Mac download, and email verification can continue into sign-in. Desktop sign-in state is preserved through webview teardown, and the auth pages handle error messages more clearly.
Billing settings now show usage meters and plan comparison cards. Plan-limit errors open an upgrade dialog, and Stripe pages open in the system browser on desktop.
Account deletion cleans up associated billing, connected-app credentials, and uploaded files. Signing out also clears saved workspace selection and revokes the desktop token.
July 12, 2026 — Browser-to-app sign-in and more expressive notes
Desktop sign-in connects your browser account to the Mac app through an updated handoff. The connection screen is clearer and includes a download fallback for the older sign-in route.
Note frames gain font-size controls with saved sizing, along with a live preview of dictated text in the editor. Task checkboxes scale with the note text.
The release also fixes a double-Control input-bar jump, compact rail geometry, and stale project selection when changing accounts.
July 13, 2026 — Move or dismiss compact replies and resume CLI work
Compact agent cursors gain smoother pointer following. Completed reply bubbles can be dragged or dismissed, including bubbles from terminal work.
Codex agents receive fixes for finding Denker tools and presenting frames. CLI runtime state is persisted across restarts, and prewarmed sessions receive fixes for the light desktop workflow.
July 14, 2026 — Keep conversation history and its cursor in sync
Conversation frames, agent cursors, and session history stay in sync more consistently.
July 21, 2026 — Bundled OpenCode visibility for eligible accounts
Fixed bundled OpenCode not appearing for eligible accounts. Included access remains limited to those accounts.
