April 2026: task refinement, notes, and workspace updates
April's updates improved how you assign tasks, review work, edit notes, and follow agent activity in the web workspace.
April 13, 2026 — Project switching and a new use-case article
Fixed a connection loop triggered by switching projects that could prevent sign-in. Agent activity narration also received cleaner command and tool labels.
Published a new use-case article and updated the website's search metadata and page structure.
April 14, 2026 — Refine a task before handing it off
Added task refinement so you can improve a task's brief before an agent starts. Follow-up fixes aligned the refinement timeout and improved the modal in light mode.
Approval cards gained a dismiss action. Email addresses no longer trigger false agent mentions, and choosing an agent from the mention menu now dispatches to that agent.
April 15, 2026 — Human task assignments and clearer workspace views
Tasks can be assigned to you as well as an agent, with a shared assignee picker in task creation and details. Creating a task no longer wipes the form while you are editing it.
Expanded memory views gained a details sidebar and navigation controls. GitHub frames gained branch selection and refreshed branch information when returning to a space.
Added project-aware notifications and a running-agent badge on the space switcher. Canvas layout separates control frames from deliverables and lets you pin frames.
April 16, 2026 — Select several frames and open task review
Added multi-frame selection and a /review command that opens task review. Taskboard layout, memory views, and the expanding message input received layout fixes.
April 17, 2026 — Frame comments, image comments, and session controls
Added inline frame comments and frame tagging, and allowed task comments containing an image without accompanying text. Question replies and comment highlighting received fixes.
The input bar gained session, model, and context-usage controls. Review scrolling, frame selection while task details are open, and restoring the canvas view after reload were improved.
GitHub frames show pull-request status and synchronize branch updates when a repository is linked to several projects. Expanded focus views can include pinned frames and notes.
April 18, 2026 — More useful cursor reply previews
Cursor reply previews now choose the first non-empty line, so leading whitespace does not leave the visible reply blank.
April 19, 2026 — Resume conversations and switch models
The session menu gained click-to-resume controls. Model switching ends the previous active turn and carries prior messages into the new conversation; follow-up routing and Stop-button state received fixes.
Question notifications now open an interactive reply, integration approvals show a notification, and settings warn about unsaved changes. GitHub branch views gained pull-request and check timestamps.
April 20, 2026 — Website campaign measurement maintenance
Updated the website's browser security rules alongside support for LinkedIn campaign measurement.
April 22, 2026 — Scheduled tasks use the right time zone
Scheduled task times now include the selected time-zone offset when submitted. Improved answered-question displays, note editing, and text readability in activity and history panels.
Account deletion now removes associated memory graph data. Memory search spacing and light-theme outlines were also adjusted.
April 23, 2026 — A place to inspect agent errors
Added an error log so agent problems can be inspected after they occur. Billing now shows subscription period dates correctly.
The landing page received updated headline copy and social-sharing artwork.
April 27, 2026 — Editable notes, usage details, and project organization
Notes gained collapsible text blocks, heading support, and inline editing, including in expanded views. Agent text updates and your edits are shared with the workspace.
Added a Usage tab in settings with sorting and pagination. The slash menu shows the selected agent's skills, and agent errors appear in the notification bell.
Spaces can be moved to another project. Taskboard split views, column headings, and comment popover placement were improved.
April 29, 2026 — Read and answer agents at their cursor
Agent questions moved into cursor-anchored replies. Full responses can be opened from the reply bubble, and the input bar and cursor layout preserve their state after reload.
Updated website previews, internal article links, and machine-readable website information. Canvas input sizing and frame persistence received fixes alongside the reply changes.
