Agent teams
Give related tasks clear owners and follow their outputs as a project moves from research to a finished result.
Summary
A project can need research, writing and implementation at different moments. Agent teams let you give those assignments clear owners while keeping their tasks and results together. Choose from the agents available in your project, explain what each should return, and follow the work on the Taskboard. This makes a larger request easier to continue and direct as individual results become ready.
Key points
- Give each agent a useful responsibility. A named output, such as a source list or draft, makes the handoff clear and gives you something concrete to assess.
- Keep related work connected. The Taskboard shows the assignments and their status, helping you see which result the next task needs.
- Direct the work as it develops. Open a task, inspect its result and provide a correction or missing source before the next stage continues.
Turn a launch brief into clear assignments
Suppose you need a product-launch brief. One task can gather relevant product sources, another can outline the brief, and a writing task can use those sources and the outline. Explain the audience and required output in each assignment so the pieces serve the same goal.
Choose the project and an available agent when handing off the first task. Where Add agent is offered, select another agent for the project. Specialist options and assignment controls depend on your setup; start with the agents shown in your workspace.
Make each handoff useful to the next task
Ask the research task to return source links and the facts the brief needs. Give the outline task the intended audience and sections. Once the sources are ready, supply the reviewed material to the writing task.
This connects the work through its outputs. The writer has a specific source set to use, and you can trace a questionable statement back to the assignment that supplied it.
- State the overall outcome in the intended project.
- Give each assignment an owner, source material and expected output.
- Open the tasks to follow progress and answer blocked questions.
- Pass reviewed results into the next assignment and inspect the finished brief.
Stay involved where your decisions matter
Open a task to inspect its description, assignee and status. If research misses a question, add it to that task. If the draft uses the wrong tone, refer to the passage and describe the correction.
Complete your AI setup and connect the services each assignment needs. Provider access and available tools affect what an agent can do. Keep the final brief ready for your review, with sending or publishing as an explicit next step.
