Skills and work procedures

Keep a useful way of working ready to reuse, and adapt the steps to the results you need.

Summary

Repeated work often starts with the same explanation: which sources to use, what to produce and what makes it good. Skills give that guidance a reusable home. In Denker, work procedures describe a process and its checks, while execution skills guide agent behavior. Find a relevant procedure, adapt the steps when customization is available, and use it with the inputs for your next task.

Key points

  • Reuse the process that makes the result useful. A procedure keeps its required inputs, steps and quality checks together.
  • Make an available procedure fit your work. A personal version can add your requirements while keeping the included original intact.
  • Carry the procedure into a concrete request. Supply the current sources and app access so the guidance can support the task you are doing now.

Find a procedure for a recurring report

Suppose your weekly report needs the current customer brief and a source link for each recommendation. Open Settings, then Skills and search for a relevant report procedure. All, Your versions, Included and Added help narrow the library; each entry identifies its kind.

Open a Work procedure to inspect What you need, the steps, What you get and Quality checks where supplied. These explain how the process leads to a useful report and let you see which requirements need adapting. Browse all skills lets you explore other available guidance.

Put your requirements into the steps

Where Customize for me appears, add the current brief and source-link requirement to the relevant steps. Give your version a recognizable name and choose Save my version after changing at least one step.

Open your version returns to an existing adaptation. Edit my version lets you revise it as the reporting process changes. Read the saved steps so the procedure describes the work you want repeated.

  1. Find and open the relevant work procedure.
  2. Read its inputs, outputs and quality checks.
  3. Use Customize for me where offered and change the necessary steps.
  4. Choose Save my version, then use the named procedure with the next report’s sources.

Use the process with today’s information

Name the procedure in your request and provide the current brief and other inputs. Connect the required services and complete your AI setup. After the report is prepared, compare its recommendations and source links with the procedure’s checks.

Work procedures and execution skills have different roles. Library filters change what you see, and execution skills are not assigned to every agent automatically. Available customization and use depend on the skill and your agent setup.
